Editor's review
This is a development kit for adding a Macro language to any application that you develop.
MacroScript SDK provides an easy way to add a macro language to applications you are developing. All the features and the ease of use that is available from Macro Scheduler script language get added quickly and easily. You would not need to go through a shell interface to access the features but execute the code directly from the program that you have. The development kit will let you run the Macro Scheduler code and review the values whenever you need to. The end user need not even have the Macro Scheduler installed separately. This ActiveX control is easy to use and you can integrate it as a DLL or an ActiveX control. The component can be integrated with programs written in several languages that include MS Visual Studio,C++, C#, Borland IDEs, VBScript, PowerBuilder, Python and VBA and others. That should be a wide enough choice for developers needing to use the control.
The SDK comes in two versions, one is tethered version that needs the Macto Scheduler to be installed in every user PC. While the non-tethered version would not need the macro scheduler to be installed on the user PCs, the developing organization gets an unlimited runtime license. If you wanted to redistribute the product to outside organizations, you would need to discuss with the publishers about license terms. The product works with Windows XP, Windows 2000, Server 2003, Server 2008, Vista and Windows 7. All of them on the 32 bit version, it does not work currently on the 64 bit OS versions.
